At TIMTOS Taipei International Machine Tool Show, the focus of the show is naturally to announce the winners of the 12th Machine Tool "Research and Development of Innovative Products" competition in 2015. POJU participated in the “Key Components of Numerical Control Machine Tool” with “High-efficiency Frequency Conversion Yield-Ahead Tool Magazine”, and won the prize of Best Work Award. After the press conference, the reviewers went to the venue again to study this revolutionary innovative product that was well received and affirmed by everyone.
The reason for the design of the "high-efficiency frequency conversion tool magazine" came from a technical report from a Japanese machine tool maker. According to the report, under non-human improper use of the spindle, up to 45% of the damage was caused by improper knocks and impacts on the spindle when the tool magazine's tool arm clamped tool and returned. Therefore, POJU's elite research and development team uses this as a starting point to carry out many designs and changes based on the root of the problem. Its main features are as follows:
Mechanical automatic yield-ahead mechanism (new patents, five-country invention patent announcements)
The amount of ejector can be removed during the punching operation to protect the spindle tool change and the improper force of the ATC internal transmission components. The flat cam curve of the ATC tool change mechanism is changed to a floating mechanism, which can increase the stability of the tool change of the tool arm.
Single frequency conversion dual motor drive design (new patent)
Using the inverter can save costs, remove the three sets of motor rectifiers, brake pads, and brake coils, save mechanical brake pad life and environmental issues, reduce service problems, increase benefits, and improve tool magazine stability. And add overload protection, over current protection, under-phase protection in the inverter to ensure the life of the motor under adverse environment and human factors.
Patent design of tool claw and lock stroke (new patent)
Through the change of the fitting angle of the ejector lever and the claw lever, when the tool arm is exposed to the processing area, the maximum iron scraps that are splashed on the claws by aluminum and iron scraps are 0.8mm, so even the claws are not completely embed into the V groove of the tool, the tool drop will not happen, which improves the working ability of the tool magazine in harsh environments.
In view of the above characteristics, the "high-efficiency frequency-conversion tool magazine" can increase the fault tolerance rate of the spindle, motor protection and tool change to prevent the tool from falling, but it does not increase the cost of high-CP innovation and invention products.
